Subsequent to the version of the Cancer Research UK Terms and Conditions and Administrative Guidelines for Research Grants and Awards, launched on 23 March 2010, a revision has been made as of 9 July 2010. This was in order to reference the new ‘Guidelines for the welfare and use of animals in cancer research’, published in the British Journal of Cancer (P Workman et al 2010), which supersede those previously set out by the former UK Coordinating Committee on Cancer Research (UKCCCR).
